The golden "Digital Scepter" represents more than a visual identity—it’s a declaration of digital autonomy and connection. Designed as a fusion of ancient symbolism and modern technology, it reflects the interconnected pathways of digital sovereignty.
Embedded within its form are three human figures, standing as Digital First Explorers, holding onto the nodes of knowledge, self-sovereignty, and collective resilience—a visual homage to the pioneers navigating this ever-evolving space.
Just as early civilizations used symbols and tools to define their independence, the Digital Scepter represents the power of self in the digital world.
Though a smaller emblem, the favicon carries profound significance. It takes inspiration from the top portion of the Digital Scepter, yet in its simplicity, it reveals a deeper truth—a reflection of the earliest form of amplified human connection.
The same three human figures—but now, the digital nodes they hold take the shape of drums. This visual metaphor ties back to the first humans, who used drumming to communicate across vast distances, to synchronize, to amplify their voices.
Today, Digital First Explorers face the same challenge: finding ways to be heard, to remain sovereign, and to navigate the online world with agency.

Our mission is both broadly relevant and deeply personal: we show you the meaning of our symbol—choosing the scepter over the scale or the torch is a deliberate act of change. We are not here to measure and judge, nor are we here to burn down the opposition.

We protect our net citizen's right to being authentic and promote responsible use of web technology when the lines across physical, digital, and virtual worlds get murkier each day.
Through tailored enablement program and digital-first advocacy capabilities, Digital Libertas meets each generation where they are — from kids exploring the metaverses, to teens navigating social media, and to adults protecting their digital privacy.

In 2006, our predecessor, Digital Majority, emerged as one of the earliest forums dedicated to digital intellectual rights, providing an open and privacy-protected space for critical discussions.
It was a pioneering effort ahead of its time—grappling with questions of ownership, autonomy, and expression long before they became mainstream concerns.
Nearly two decades later, the challenges facing net citizens have only deepened. Under our guardianship, Digital Majority is evolving—expanding its advocacy while retaining the flexibility of its original forum structure, adapting to the realities of the digital age.
